Day 66: In My Happy Place.

Erin sent me this evil picture because she hates me and wants to make me miserable with homesickness for Canada (or at least the foods that come from there). So I went to my happy place and played pretend. Mmmm. That timbit was deeeeeeeeeeeeeelish.

Day 65: Bad Examples

I was kept up too late by some very naughty, no good ladies on AIM and MSN. Erin and Katey, I hope you are very very ashamed. Shame on you. *snort*

Day 64: Ditched

J and I trailing behind the rest of the family on our walk to the park. Molly'd taken off on me too. Poor J... stuck with his mum til he masters the whole balance thing.

Day 63: Snuffled

Love snuffling this kid, spit up and all.

Day 62: Check Out THOSE Dimples!

J on his way to a bath. Ahh... to have rolls like that and still be called cute...

Day 61: Chomp

Yes, this is the strawberry in my day 60 picture. But I took these at night before bed, and I can't remember if they were before or after midnight, so they each get to be one. Plus that strawberry was one of the yummiest strawberries I've had... mmmm. It deserved two days.

Day 60: Holy Huge, Batman!

Look at the size of this thing! It's huuuuuge! It's like a strawberry on a toothpick! It's a virtual planetoid! It has its own weather system! (rep for getting the movie reference. heee.)

STRAWBERRY! DOON! NOW! (said in scottish accent.) (there's a hint for you.)

Day 59: Sunny Days

Spring is making its appearance in Arizona. It's been so gorgeous and perfect lately, and we even have daffodils blooming!

Day 58: Cheeky Baby.

Good thing he's not crying while *I* hold him...

Day 57: Molly Wolly

Poor Molly, she's been left out of the blog til now. Well, no longer, sweet puppers. We adore Molly, she's so great with the kids, especially P. He just loves her, gets so excited to play with her, even though he's actually allergic to her. Luckily his allergy is very mild!

Day 56: Just for Shila.

Shila was bugging me that I hadn't updated here in awhile. So this one's for you, Shila. I hope you print it out and frame it and hang it in a place of honor. :o)

Day 55: Caution-Wide Smiles Ahead

J is SUCH a smiler. He grins all the time when anyone talks to him or sings to him, or plays with him. Lately he loves being "tossed" it the air, without letting go obviously. He thinks it's hilarious, and usually lets loose a giggle or chortle when we do it.

Day 54: Goodnight Moon

Everynight M and I read Goodnight Moon before she goes to sleep, as the last book we read. We've read it so often that M has it memorized and "reads" it with me. We actually have two copies of the book because our original is so beat up, but I'm such a sap and will never ever ever get rid of that book. Too many memories.

Day 53: Ribbit

I found one of M's bows laying around, and put it in my hair so I would remember to put it away.
But I forgot.
LOL
Like the bow? Little Pink Ladybug, baby! Tell Karyn that I sent you ;o)

Day 52: Lub Dub

Lub Dub: the sound my heart makes when I look at that face, sleeping away in my arms.

Day 51: Snapshot

I love having a few cameras.... it gives me options.

Day 50: Being a Good Wife

Making CJ's lunch for him so he can get some more sleep before heading to work.

Day 49: Sneaky Sneaky

We have a bowl of different kinds of Hersheys Kisses, and I have to be stealthy ninja-like when I snag one, because the kids LOVE them.

Day 48: Hand in Hand in Hand

It was gorgeous outside, so we all went outside to draw on the sidewalk and driveway, and I wrangled M&P into letting me trace their hands. M thought it was cool, P got tired after one finger.

Day 47: My Lovah.

Sweet sweet coke. Mmmmmmmm.

Day 46: Ouch.

My poor belly button. It got used and abused when I had the surgery to have my gallbladder removed. Look how bruised and beaten it is! And they totally butchered it sewing it back up. GRUMP.

Day 45: Yummo.

Mum and I made sugar cookies for Mercy's preschool class, and I couldn't resist just a leeeeetle bit of icing. Just a smidge. Really, barely anything.

Day 44: Chopped!

To celebrate my gallbladder being given the boot from my body, my mum treated me to a haircut. A *BIGTIME* haircut. I haven't had it this short in a long, long time, but I just love it.

Day 43: Recovery

Recovering from my surgery with a Caramel Apple Cider and a cheese danish. Mmmmm.

Day 42: Another Oldie

Can you believe his hands have like TRIPLED in size in the last two months? Okay, not tripled... but he's so much bigger now. Sniff. I can't believe how fast he's growing, why can't I figure out how to slow it down?

Day 41: Sorta-Not-Really

Okay, so this is from pre-Christmas, but I forgot to take some photos for a few days, and I love this picture of me and J. He looks like he's telling one heckuva story, eh?

Day 40: Stroller Duty

We took the kids to the park behind our house to play, and since J hasn't figured out walking yet (I mean, he's FOUR months old, he really should get working on that. geez.) I got to push him around in the stroller. He's too much of a cuddlebug to tolerate it for very long though. Ah well. It's good exercise to shove a stroller across grass, right?

Day 39: Squish

Yes, this was taken the same day as the photo of Porter and I. Too bad, I forgot a day here or there and this one is cute, Mercy mohawk and all. It's my blog and I'll post what I want to, neener neener.

Day 38: Movie Day

Our DVD player is broken in the living room, so the only way to watch movies is on the PS2, which is hooked up to the TV in our bedroom. It's not such a bad arrangement, except when the kids decide they want to jump on the bed instead of watch a movie.
And excuse CJ's snarly face, he apparently thinks he's Elvis.

Day 37: My Workspace

Yeah, it's a mess. Did you expect something clean? *snort* You don't really know me, do you.

Day 36: Whoa

I was trying to get a picture of something else (can't remember what, so don't bother asking lol) and this was one of my outtakes. I actually like how this looks, so here it is!

Day 35: Upside Down

Or am I rightside up... In any case, I have way too much hair.

Day 34: I Pinned Him

Finally caught the P man for a picture with him. Geez he's a cute kid, isn't he? That smile gets me every time...

Day 33: I *Heart* Mum

Why, yes I do.

Day 32: Visit to the Doctor

My poor bubby. J's fever didn't go down enough to satisfy us or the doctors, so off we went to Tucson to get him looked at. Poor babe had a nasty double ear infection. He also got diagnosed with Torticollis, so we got a referral for a physical therapist for him.

Day 31: Medicine Run

J spiked a fever, and of course we were out of Tylenol, so I made a run to Target to get some.

Day 30: Chasing Shadows

Mercy and I waiting for her teachers to come and pick the kids up at the drop off site.

Day 29: High as a...

Kite flying and taking a picture... not so easy to do at the same time. But it was a fun day at our little park, trying to get the kite to stay in the air, and then trying to not let it get ripped from our hands.

Day 28: Holding Tight

Taking Mercy to her first day of preschool. *sigh*

Day 27: Sad News

I found out tonight that the President of our Church (we are LDS/Mormon), Gordon B. Hinckley, has passed away. This was one of the most amazing men to walk this earth. He's basically been the president for most of the time that I've been a member, and his sunny outlook and beautiful talks have always made me think and given me hope. His wife was such a sweet woman as well, a beautiful speaker and you could tell how in love they were, even after 67 years of marriage. I really hope CJ and I are as happy as they were after that long.

Rest in peace, President Hinckley. You will be missed greatly, but we know that you are happy and once again with your beloved Marjorie. Thank you for the example that you set for all of us, and the faith you showed the world.

Day 26: Keeping Him Warm

CJ always seems to have cold feet. So it falls on me, the wonderful wife that I am, to keep them warm.

Okay, I'm not that nice, most of the time. But as long as he doesn't want me to do anything other than rest my hands on them or allow him to rest his feet on me, then I don't have that big a problem with them.

Day 25: Boo

Day 24: Slurp.

Ahhhh... sweet coke. I fully admit I borderline on addiction to this drink. I love it. I don't have it everyday, but I could see it happening if we constantly had it in the house. That's why we don't have it that often. Boooo.

Day 23: He Certainly Is.

The shirt says it all.

Day 22: *snort*

Me cracking up after reading something freaking hilarious from my rockin' awesome friend Erin.

erin has a giiiiiiiiirlfriend, erin has a giiiiiiiiiiiiiirlfriend!
*tee hee*

Day 21: My Boy

I realise that the majority of my pictures involve Jameson. A big reason is because, quite honestly, he can't run away from me yet. Heheheh. But also because the majority of my day involves holding or feeding him, so he's constantly within camera reach. Besides, who wouldn't want a picture with that cutie patootie? He can make anyone look good.

Day 20: Awww...

He's got my thighs. *tee hee*

Day 19: Incognito

K, not really... but this is how I'm sure the neighbours think I always look. A hoodie and sunglasses on almost all the time. Not because I'm trying to look all spy-like (or stalkerish, in Kates case :) ) but because I have really sensitive eyes in the sun, and the more shade I get to cover them, the better behaved I am. Hee hee.

Day 18: Love This Boy

Love him. Love him love him love him love him love him love him love him.

Did I mention I love him?

*sigh*

Day 17: Boy in Action

Yep. That skinny blur is my Porter. I love how this picture turned out, because yet again, it epitomizes the boy that I love; always in motion, always doing something. Rare is the moment that you catch him just relaxing or not doing anything. Even watching movies he almost always is also playing with a car, or playing with letters, or something. This photo is of one of our favorite games. I lay on the floor and he comes flying down the hall at full tilt, and runs right into me, giggling hysterically. He will do this as long as I am laying on the floor. Good thing I'm nice and squishy to land on, eh?
